Kings’ School Al Barsha is an educational community centred around positive outcomes for young people. The school’s vision and values embrace the challenges of academic excellence, responsibility and leadership, emotional awareness and participation in a wide variety of activities within and beyond the classroom.

We believe in ‘Results the Right Way’, where academic excellence is of vital importance, but even more important are the values that go with it. At Kings’ School Al Barsha, our boys and girls explore their identity and strengths, and develop the expertise that helps them to transform individual talents into accomplishments – accomplishments which will make them valued and respected as they move beyond the school into an increasingly complex and competitive world.

Our value, ‘The Best by Every Child’, highlights the way we work, both during and beyond the school day. We are focused on ensuring a growth mindset among our students that is embodied in our value ‘Kings’ Learner Behaviours’, a series of competences based around the RSA Opening Minds Framework. ‘Kings Does Things Differently’, and this means picking the best aspects of international curricula and pedagogy to ensure our students learn in creative and innovative ways.

Through our value ‘British Heritage, International Perspective’, we cover the English National Curriculum and Examinations and the majority of our students are British; however, they mix with a tremendous array of 60+ nationalities, ensuring cultural knowledge, appreciation, and understanding is at the heart of everything we do.

Our school has outstanding pastoral care and pupil support provision (highly valued by students and parents) within a traditional British public school House structure, and this means we treat our young people as important individuals, who are valued, supported, nurtured and fostered. This kind of ‘compassionate wisdom’, together with a focus on aspiring to excellence, is what our staff treasure and strive for with all our young people and is a key aspect of what makes Kings’ School Al Barsha distinctive today in the context of international education.

We look forward to welcoming you soon to meet our students, see first-hand our incredible new facilities and experience our strong ethos and values.
