2017 GCSE Results Day: UAE Aces New Exam Format

The UK government announced significant changes to the A level system in 2015; the first changes since 2000. The reform has seen the de-coupling of AS and A levels, in addition to the removal of coursework, resits and modular exams. Dubai Schools making the grade after KHDA inspections
More than half of Dubai students enrolled in private schools are being educated in schools that have been rated as good or of higher quality by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

The authority released its 2015-2016 private school inspection report today, which stated that 61 per cent of students are enrolled in schools that ranked good, very good or outstanding, compared with 30 per cent in 2008-2009.

Market competition and inspection system contribute to lifting ratings of 28 schools

Greater competition and choice of Dubai schools has contributed to the biggest improvement in education quality since government inspections began in 2008, with 61 per cent of students now in schools rated ‘good’ or higher, officials said on Monday.

Alison Turner... A truly dedicated Educator
