Flights and Induction

We book commencement flights close to August and there is typically an induction in mid-August (the induction period is not paid).

Should you wish to make additions to your booking, such as tickets for family members or extra luggage, you can do so independently once we have issued your booking details.

If you would like to book your own flight and claim a reimbursement, this is also an option and you will receive this in your first month of employment so long as a receipt is provided.

Local staff are welcome to join a commencement flight should travel during the summer be possible.

During our initial days of induction, many of our key policies will be discussed and you will be introduced to key figures in your school who hold important positions of responsibility, such as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
