The team at Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba includes the Leadership Team, Primary and Specialist Teachers, Learning Assistants and Support Staff. It is a dynamic, forward thinking, highly skilled and happy group of people, all striving to do ‘The Best By Every Child’.
James graduated with a Geography degree in his hometown of Cambridge and went on to complete his PGCE at Nottingham University. He began his teaching career in North London and rapidly progressed to various leadership roles throughout Cambridgeshire, including four years as Assistant Headteacher. Recognised by the local authority as a lead practitioner, James worked with schools across the county to improve the quality of teaching and learning, and went on to write whole-school curriculums. A keen data analyst, James has also designed and implemented whole-school data and assessment frameworks. James has been a part of the Kings’ family for 6 years, joining Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba in 2019 from Kings’ School Al Barsha, where he was Assistant Headteacher. During his time with Kings’, James has successfully completed his NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship) and been awarded a fellowship to the Chartered College of Teaching.
Raza graduated with a BA (Hons) in Philosophy from The University of York and went onto complete a Master’s degree in Religious Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He completed his PGCE in his hometown of Bradford and was awarded his Master’s degree in Education in 2018. Raza started teaching at an inner-city school in Bradford where he progressed to head of humanities and English with a passion for developing research-based pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning. He joined Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba in 2018 as Head of English and has designed and implemented a whole-school creative curriculum.
