Welcome

Welcome to Primary at Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba:

Dear new teachers,

Hello, my name is Mahra and I am Head Girl. I have been in this school for a long span of seven years which, yes, is quite some time! This school has welcomed me with open arms and I will forever cherish it in my heart.

Without a doubt, my favorite part of the school is the variety of subjects! From Art to Arabic, there is a wide range of opportunities in this school, both within and beyond the curriculum. My favorite is Art because I can learn and explore different mediums and let my creativity run wild! I can’t begin to name all the new facilities and upgrades that I am excited to see next academic year, but I am especially looking forward to the opening of the new secondary and the new sand pit for athletics.

Every year I see improvement across all my subjects and take advantage of the new nopportunities on offer. I especially look forward to all the fun events such as sports day. This year, I broke two school records! National Day and International Day are also lots of fun day and we get to celebrate and learn about everyone’s backgrounds and cultures! As an Emirati, I am proud to share my culture with others and observe their traditions too. This school has boosted my confidence to the point that I have presented a speech in front of the whole school!

We look forward to welcoming you.

My name is Rayden and I am Primary Head Boy. My personal experience over the past six years at Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba has shaped me into the person that I am today and given me the confidence to know who I want to be in the future. Kings’ has given me countless opportunities for growth and development, and teachers have taught me all the skills I need to help face and overcome new challenges. They have been nothing but supportive and encouraging.

Kings’ has a very engaging and personal educational programme, where every child flourishes according to their individual ability. My journey has been amazing. In Maths, I have le arned many different ways to solve problems and teachers always push me outside of my comfort zone, which really helps me achieve great heights. Arts and drama are two of my favourite subjects; I am always encouraged to explore my creativity, to enhance my skills, and to use the many platforms on offer to showcase my musical talent, which helps to boost my confidence immensely.

Another special subjects for me is PE. The school offers a wide range of sports and ECAs, and encourage students to engage in lots of different activities based on their interests. Everyone has the opportunity to be a part of a competitive squad and for those for whom competition doesn’t appeal, they have the option to take part in friendly matches and training sessions.

We have a very diverse community and everyone is very accepting and welcoming of all the different cultures and nationalities, which we love to celebrate during International Day.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.

Kind regards,

Primary Head Girl, Mahra, and Primary Head Boy, Rayden.

Welcome to Secondary at Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba:

Dear new staff,

As the Head Girl of Kings’ Nad Al Sheba Secondary, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school.Throughout my time here, I have had the privilege of supporting my fellow students, particularly in the realm of sports. Engaging in various sporting activities has not only brought me joy and excitement but has also provided me with invaluable opportunities to develop my interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. From teamwork and leadership on the field to determination and resilience in competitions, sports have taught me lessons that extend beyond physical fitness.

Looking ahead to the next year, I am eagerly anticipating Year 10, where I will have the opportunity to start my GCSE subjects. I am excited to pursue my passion for sports by choosing Physical Education as one of my subjects. Alongside PE, I am also thrilled to explore Design Technology, French, and Triple Science. These subjects will allow me to dive deeper into my interests while providing me with a strong range of subjects to support my sixth form journey in years to come.
